Namaqualand flowers
In disturbed areas, usually old fields that have not been ploughed for some time, single species "monocultures" carpet the land in vast swathes. The most common species appearing thus are Dimorphptheca sinuata, the Namaqualand Daisy, and other Dimorphptheca species, as well as Ursinia cakilefolia and others.
