Benguela Long-billed Lark

The Long-billed Lark, occurring in South Africa and Namibia, is separated into five species on the basis of genetic evidence, with definite genetic as well as geographical boundaries. The Benguela Long-billed Lark replaces the Karoo Long-billed Lark in northwestern Namibia (and southern Angola). It resembles the northern form of the Karoo Long-billed Lark but is more heavily streaked on the crown, breast and back.
